Initial meetings to hear Gretchen, and any subsequent meetings with the artist for rehearsals or discussions at her or your location:

Meetings or rehearsals are billed at $20 per half hour. The first half-hour is $25. Minimum charge: $25.   Sessions are rounded up to the nearest half hour.

If accompanist is required, add $20 per half hour session. to the prices shown above, rounded upwards to the nearest half hour.

Transportation Costs: Meetings outside Talbot, Caroline, Kent, or Queen Anne counties in MD are subject to minimum $15 transportation charge (charged per session based on distance).

Event Pricing for: Weddings, Dinner Parties, and all Formal and Commercial Events

A typical wedding or dinner party is $150. Price includes artist wearing formal black and white or all-black dress, evening wear, or "gypsy" or other festive clothing, as required for the event from the artist's wardrobe. Additional transportation costs may apply (see above).

$150 for a two hour session. Minimum charge: $150.  Additional  hours billed at $60 per  hour (non-prorated). Events outside the DC beltway are subject to additional $15 transportation charge (charged per session). Customer responsible for all parking, valet, or other transportation charges.

An accompanist is optional. Add $85 if accompanist required for two hour session. Minimum accompanist charge: $85 per 2-hour session. Additional hours billed at $35 per hour.

May through July, December 12 - January 3: 20% surcharge applies to accompanist and artist charges for any events held on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Commercial events where tipping is allowed can be separately negotiated.

Event Pricing for: Childrens' parties, wedding proposals, street markets, birthday parties, and other less formal functions

Typical pricing is $60 per hour, with discounts for additional time (see below). Price includes artist wearing casual, cocktail or evening wear,  "gypsy" or other festive or seasonal clothing, as required for the event from the artist's wardrobe. Additional transportation costs may apply (see above).

$60 for a one hour session. Minimum charge: $60.  Additional half hours billed at $25 per half hour. Events outside the DC beltway are subject to additional $15 transportation charge (charged per session). Customer responsible for all parking, valet, or other transportation charges.

Add $30 if accompanist required for one hour session. Minimum accompanist charge: $30. Additional half hours billed at $20 per half hour.

May through July, December 12 - January 3: 20% surcharge applies to accompanist and artist charges for any events held on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, where artist attendance is required starting at 5:30pm EST or later.

Public events where tipping is allowed can be separately negotiated. Full or Half day events can be separately negotiated.

Gretchen often performs at the Dupont Circle Washington DC and Mt. Pleasant Farmers Markets on Sundays each summer (Free).
